Keanu Reeves 'cleared on DNA testing'

A DNA test has reportedly proved that Keanu Reeves did not father any children with Karen Sala.

The 45-year-old actor agreed to submit to the paternity test in September after the Canadian woman claimed he had fathered one or more of her children.

Court documents had shown that Sala had asked for $150,000 (£92,000) per month in child support, retroactive from June 1988, and an order for $3m (£1.8m) per month in spousal support, starting from November 2006.

While the tests concluded that Reeves is not the father, Sala is going to challenge "the validity of the DNA testing", E! reports.

"Ms Sala is challenging the validity of the DNA testing, so the case goes on," Reeves's attorney Lorne Wolfson said.

She added: "If [Sala] wants to challenge it, let her go right ahead. But we are confident that the DNA testing was done properly and that the results are sound."

Reeves contends that he has never met Sala, while his lawyer said that her client will not submit to any more testing. There is no word on when the actor is to appear in the Barrie, Canada coutroom again.
