The 19-year-old affirmed that it is important for stars to use their influence for good causes, Angry Ape reports.
"I'm put in a position to help people, and every day I'm presented with people and places that need help," said the country star.
"Most of the money I make is donated to charity."
However, the singer added that her parents still treat her the same, saying: "My parents are the only people who completely do not care about telling me what they think.
"They don't care that I'm famous - they tell me how it is! They're brutal with me no matter what."
