Miller: 'I can cope with distractions'

Sienna Miller has revealed that she often finds herself distracted when she is acting on stage.

The 27-year-old, who made her US stage debut in After Miss Julie, said that it is better to just continue performing as actors never know what the noise in the audience could be.

Miller told the Daily Express: "The other night there seemed to be someone in the front row convulsing. I thought someone was having an epileptic fit on the floor. I stayed in character and carried on, which was just as well because it turned out it was just a guide dog simply shaking itself out before going to sleep."

She continued: "Another time, a woman in the crowd was making so much noise it was as if she was eating sweets out of a giant trash bag and I nearly told her to shut up. But it’s as well I didn’t because she was ill, passed out soon afterwards and had to be taken to hospital."

Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman were recently forced to confront an audience member whose mobile phone kept ringing during their Broadway play A Steady Rain.
