Richie, Madden tie the knot?

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are rumoured to have married in a top secret ceremony.

The sudden death of Richie's ex-fiancé DJ AM in August was said to have affected her deeply and it was rumoured that a marriage was on the cards.

A source has now told RadarOnline that the couple obtained a wedding license last week and tied the knot at an intimate service on Wednesday.

Richie, 27, and Madden, 30, celebrated the birth of their son Sparrow last month. A spokesperson for the couple, who also have 21-month-old daughter Harlow, is yet to comment.
