Fergie to launch own perfume line

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has revealed that she will launch her own perfume next year.

The 'I Gotta Feeling' star, who has teamed up with Avon for the fragrance, said that she is hoping to bring some "rock 'n' roll" to the beauty company in order to separate herself from previous brand models, such as Reese Witherspoon and Salma Hayek.

"Each one is completely different, but they are all wonderful, strong women who have a purpose," she told WWD. "It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table.

"I'm a bit more rock 'n' roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through."
