Michael Lohan: 'Put Lindsay in rehab'

Michael Lohan has criticised his daughter Lindsay's probation extension.

The actress, who pleaded no contest to charges of cocaine possession and driving under the influence in 2007, was recently granted a year's extra probation after failing to complete a substance abuse programme.

However, her father Michael told RadarOnline that he believes Lohan should have been forced to undergo the treatment.

"I've just gotten off the phone with the judge and I'm not happy," he said. "She needs to put my daughter in rehab.

"How could that judge have let her just walk into court and walk right back out? The least they could have done was give her a drug test at the door."

Michael Lohan recently broke down in tears on televison after pleading with his daughter to seek help for her alleged addiction to prescription drugs.
