VV Brown has admitted that she worries about her weight.
The singer/songwriter told The Observer that looking good makes her feel confident.
She said: "I'm always on some diet, whether it be the cucumber diet or the Atkins - when everyone was doing it.
"I feel sexier when I'm a certain size. Clothes hang better when you feel good. There's nothing worse than feeling podgy and you have to wear 'that dress' and not feeling hot in it."
Brown also revealed that she is not a big drinker. She explained: "After two glasses of wine, I'm paralytic. I've found a new love of margaritas, but a couple of those and I'm stripping naked."
The 25-year-old went on to say that she does not like smoking.
She stated: "I did for a little while, just to try it, but it makes you feel really dirty - your whole insides just feel really disgusting, your clothes start to smell, your hands start to get dirty."
However, she added: "It's quite hot, though, kissing a man with a tinge of cigarette on his lips."
Brown also revealed that she has a relaxed attitude towards certain drugs.
She said: "I'm not going to lie - I don't think weed is that bad, but if you become addicted to it, just like if you become addicted to alcohol or any of those things, it can open the door to harder drugs."
Brown concluded that she stays balanced by seeing a therapist.
She commented: "People look down on therapy, but it's great to have someone to talk to that isn't close to you."
Brown features on the War Child single 'I Got Soul', which is due for release on October 19.
