Ash: 'I'll always be on painkillers'

Leslie Ash has claimed she will be on painkillers for the rest of her life as a result of catching MRSA.

The actress picked up the superbug while being treated at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2004.

According to The Mirror, the 49-year-old said yesterday: "I won't be able to jump, run or dance again. I'll be on painkillers until I die."

The TV star received £5 million in compensation after contracting the disease.
