Love Hewitt criticises break-up rumours

Jennifer Love Hewitt has criticised rumours that she is breaking up with her boyfriend Jamie Kennedy.

The recent speculation, which Love Hewitt and Kennedy have denied, suggested that Kennedy is still in love with one of his ex-girlfriends.

"I'm not going to lie - it's not annoying, it's hurtful," Love Hewitt told People. "It's really hurtful that people say that. Because he is like the most awesome person.

"I really hate that people would make it seem like he's not really a good guy, and not treating me well. He treats me very well.

"We are just trying to be happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there."

Meanwhile, Kennedy added: "I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much."
