Madonna to auction Christian Dior shoes

Madonna has reportedly planned to auction her shoes for charity.

The 51-year-old popstar has selected a pair of her favourite Christian Dior gold stilettos to raise money for a Roma charity that supports schooling for Roma children, reports Female First. She previously voiced her support for the people at a concert in Romania in August.

President of Ovidiu Rom Leslie Hawke said: "Madonna's very mild comment regarding equality shone a spotlight on a common European attitude toward gypsies.

"We're thrilled to have her donation because she is such an icon of innovation and vigour and 'can do' spirit."
