Ricki-Lee Coulter has revealed that she is emerging from what has been the "worst year" of her life.
The Australian singer and TV presenter, who divorced childhood sweetheart Jamie Babbington in 2008 after only one year of marriage, marked her comeback with a dominatrix photoshoot for Ralph magazine.
Describing herself as the "poster girl for real women", Coulter told The Daily Telegraph yesterday: "The average woman in Australia is a size 12 to 14 and it's rare to see that on a woman's magazine cover, let alone a men's magazine."
She continued: "I'm proud to stand up and say curves are sexy and that men love them and appreciate them.''
Talking about her upcoming single, the 23-year-old said: "'Hear No, See No, Speak No' was the first song I wrote for the new record in LA and I was so ready to be honest, to not hold anything back in my life, personally or professionally."
Coulter added: "After coming out of the worst year of my life, having to smile on red carpets and pretend nothing was wrong for the cameras to being completely honest, has been the best decision I ever made in my life. And the song is all about taking back control of your life."
