Nicole Richie has revealed the first photograph of her newborn son in the current issue of People.
The former Simple Life star gave birth to Sparrow James Midnight, her second child with partner Joel Madden, on September 9.
Speaking to the magazine, she said: "I couldn't be happier. The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy and they are. I'm right where I belong."
Richie and Madden, the frontman for Good Charlotte, are also parents to 21-month-old daughter Harlow.
"I'm glad I had a girl before I had a boy," she added. "She just loves him so much."
