Madden 'denies Richie wedding rumours'

Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden has denied rumours that he wed long-time partner Nicole Richie in a secret ceremony earlier this month.

It was suggested that the couple married in an intimate affair at their Hollywood home on October 14 - five weeks after Richie gave birth to their first son Sparrow.

However, in a message posted on his blog, Madden wrote: "I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding.

"No, we didn't get married."
