Baldwin: 'I'd kill Renee Zellweger in bed'

Alec Baldwin has revealed that he thinks Hollywood women are too skinny.

The 30 Rock star, who was guest speaking at Elle magazine's annual Women In Hollywood dinner, said that he could not do a love scene with Renee Zellweger in case he crushed her.

Baldwin is quoted by E! Online as saying: "Women today are so skinny. If I did a love scene with them, I would crush them. If I did a love scene with Renee, I would kill her."

The actor went on to joke about the size of some movie stars' salaries, saying: "I believe we can balance the scales if Tom Cruise would lower his quote by a mere $29 million (£17.5 million).

"I realise this may be a bit unfair since he's not here to defend himself and I really don't want to put this all on one man, but if I had to, that man would be Tom Cruise."

Cruise's wife Katie Holmes was spotted laughing in the audience.
