Katie Price: 'I don't use protection'

Katie Price has said that she rarely applies sun protection despite using her tanning bed almost every day.

The glamour model made the revelation in her recently-published fashion guide Standing Out: My Look, My Style, My Life, The Mirror reports.

Price said: "I've had sunbed treatments for as long as I can remember. We have one by the pool at home and I'm on it pretty much every day. Cancer worries me but I hate being pale.

"I'm going to get old and wrinkly anyway, so I might as well have a nice golden glow while I'm at it! I know it's terrible but I don't usually wear any sun protection."

Last month, Price claimed that the cancerous growth removed from her finger in 2003 was related to "stress" and that she was dreading an upcoming scan for the disease.

Elsewhere in the book, Price reveals that her icon is Barbie and adds: "You don't need to spend a lot of money to look cheap!

"Remember, even though you might be dressed like a cheap tart, it doesn't mean you have to act like one."
