The Grammy-winning rapper had been charged with criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon. In April, he entered a plea of not guilty to the charges, which stem from a police search of his tour bus in New York in 2007 and the discovery of a handgun.
He later challenged the use of DNA evidence that the prosecution planned to link the star to the firearm, claiming that it belonged to his manager.
The 27-year-old will remain free on bail while he awaits his sentencing in February, The AP reports.
Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, is also scheduled to appear in an Arizona courtroom for a forthcoming separate trial for a January 2008 arrest on felony drug possession and weapons charges. He has pleaded not guilty in that case.
