Henry's 'Othello' stops as prop hits woman

Lenny Henry had to stop in the middle of a recent performance of Othello, after a prop flew off stage and hit a member of the audience.

Actor Richard Standing lost grip of the swordstick that he was using during a fight scene and it struck a woman watching the play at London's Trafalgar Studios, The Mirror reports.

However, the performance soon continued after the audience member confirmed that she had not been hurt.

A spokesperson for Trafalgar Studios said: "She made no fuss. Mr Henry and Mr Standing checked she was fine and carried on."
