A-Rod converting to Buddhism for Hudson?

Alex Rodriguez is reportedly considering converting to Buddhism for his girlfriend Kate Hudson.

According to Perez Hilton, the New York Yankees baseball player is contemplating a faith change for the actress, whose mother Goldie Hawn is a practicing Buddhist and has met the Dalai Lama.

An insider said: "It's an important part of her life. And it seems Alex really wants to make her happy."

The insider added: "Goldie more than approves of Alex. If he becomes a Buddhist, it'll only seal the deal."

Hudson has recently dismissed reports that she is expecting a baby with Rodriguez.
