Zoe Ball: 'I was out of control'

Zoe Ball has revealed that before she gave up alcohol, her drinking was starting to get out of control.

The TV and radio presenter, who is pregnant with her second child, ditched the booze in January because she was worried that she may have a problem.

In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Ball said: "I was partying hard and I couldn't have a drink in moderation anymore."

She added: "I had a lovely time when I was younger. I was lucky because most of my drinking was done behind closed doors and I was single when I did most of my shagging.

"But as I get older, and I'm going to be 40 soon, I want to be a family woman and act my age. I really do want to stay off booze once I have had the baby.

"I don't want to be tottering around drunk in a little skirt trying to pull some bloke from Hollyoaks either."
