Cole: 'Psychic told me to date Ashley'

Cheryl Cole has claimed that a psychic told her to date her husband Ashley.

According to the News of the World, Cole was initially reluctant to date the footballer and vowed never to give him her phone number.

However, she saw a psychic who told her that he would be good for her and that she should begin a relationship with him.

Cole added that she would stand by her husband despite the allegations that he cheated on her.

"When I said my wedding vows I meant them - for life, for better, for worse," she said. "People make mistakes, stuff happens.

"I believe everyone should be a free spirit. Even in my marriage, Ashley's a free spirit. I'm not his keeper. I'm not Mrs Perfect, I've made mistakes."

Cole recently claimed that she only fully trusts her mother and her dogs.
