Sarandon 'encourages daughter to go nude'

Eva Amurri has revealed that her mother Susan Sarandon encouraged her to take her role on Californication.

The 24-year-old actress, who portrays an erotic dancer and love interest to David Duchovny's character, has said that her mother reassured her to film nude scenes "while you're young", reports Perez Hilton.

As for her brothers, 17-year-old Miles and 20-year-old Jack, approving of her television role, she said: "Hopefully, one day my brothers will forgive me."

Californication is currently in its third season on Showtime.
