Juliette Lewis: 'Drugs are boring'

Juliette Lewis has claimed that drugs are boring.

The actress-turned-singer told Metro that her life is more interesting now that she is drug-free.

Lewis said: "It's funny. When I was younger, specifically taking drugs, I didn't go out and it was really 'un-wild'. I'm more wild now than I've ever been.

"To me, my drummer's kicks and crashes and the electric guitar all channelling through my body, that's a wild f**king experience."

She added: "If I'd started a band at age 20, I wouldn't have even lasted out of the gate. But drugs don't get me off.

"They're really boring. I haven't done drugs in 13 years. But I do know how to have a Guinness."

Lewis said that the most rock 'n' roll thing she had ever done was giving up her "lucrative" career as an actress to go into music.
