Burke: 'Jude Law will come through'

Samantha Burke has said that she hopes Jude Law will become involved in the upbringing of their child Sophia.

The model told Hello, which has published photographs of her with the baby, that Law has not yet visited his daughter.

Burke said: "There are no plans for it to happen at the moment, but I know he's busy. I am very hopeful it will work out for Sophia's sake.

"I hope for him to be just as good as he is to his three children by Sadie Frost. He's a great father to his three kids. She's his daughter and I believe he'll come through. I mean once you see her face, how can you deny it?"

She added: "It would be great if we can have a friendship and remain cordial. Hopefully, he'll be a big part of her life and she'll be proud to have him as her father."

Regarding accusations that she is a gold-digger, Burke said: "It really hurt. I have never dated a guy for money. All my ex-boyfriends were just normal guys."
