Katie Price 'shocked by book discount'

Katie Price was stunned when she arrived at a book signing and discovered that her new release was on sale for half price, according to a report.

The glamour model appeared red-faced when she spotted the special offer at a Waterstone's store in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, the Daily Star claims.

Posed pictures of Price at the event show her holding up her new book Standing Out: My Look, My Style, My Life while using her hand to cover up a sticker advertising the discount.

A source said: "She looked so embarrassed when she saw the sticker. Her face was so red. Perhaps she should change her name to Katie Half Price!"

Price's book focuses on how her style has changed over the years and sees her offering advice on how to "look good, live life and be happy". Her next release is expected to be another autobiography, which is due out next year.
