Scherzinger 'bans interview from airing'

Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly halted an interview she gave for a comedy show from being aired on TV.

The Pussycat Dolls star was interviewed by Australian comedian John Safran for his Race Relations series, but the scene was later edited as a spoof sketch that showed him entering Scherzinger's dressing room in order to steal her underwear.

According to a report in the Herald Sun, the singer subsequently had the skit removed.

A spokesperson for the ABC network said: "Following completion of the programme, Nicole's agent requested her removal from the programme.

"Nicole is not portrayed in a negative light. The story and humour is very much about John Safran, and the joke is on him and his mischievous scientific experiment."
