Allen wants to build home in Glastonbury

Lily Allen has revealed that she wants to build a country house in Glastonbury.

The 'Not Fair' singer, who has attended the Somerset town's famous music festival since she was a child, said that she wants to construct a home nearby with a tent attached.

She told Q magazine: "My plan is to build a yurt on to the side of my country house. You have the house for traditional living and, of course, running hot water and toilets. But the yurt is full of old Moroccan rugs where you hang out."

She continued: "I want to feel like I'm at Glastonbury all year round, with a few home comforts next door."

Allen added that she would be employing her builder boyfriend Sam Cooper on the project, saying: "He is in the construction business so will be able to tell me when my dreams are unworkable."
