Andre: 'I had panic attack over Reid'

Peter Andre has claimed that he suffered a panic attack after seeing pictures of Alex Reid with his children for the first time.

Andre's ex-wife Katie Price stepped out for a trip to the park with new lover Reid and kids Junior, 4, and Princess, 2, shortly after they started dating in July.

'Behind Closed Doors' singer Andre has now told New magazine that he has a history of panic attacks, but had experienced a long respite from the problem until pictures of Price's day out hit the press.

Writing in his column for the publication, he explained: "I honestly haven't had anything happen like this for years, but it occurred on the same day that I saw the first pictures of Alex Reid with my children and it really set me back.

"I found it unbelievably hard to see another man with Junior and Princess, and that was probably the lowest I've felt throughout the whole split. It's any father's nightmare to see pictures like that, and I went to bed feeling not only heartbroken but also massively anxious, which obviously brought on the attack."

The popstar claimed that he lost consciousness while alone in his room and his face was "covered with blood" when he woke up.

Andre said: "It was all really horrible and anyone who has ever suffered from a panic attack or had a blackout will know that it is a really scary experience."
