Delta Goodrem has spoken out for the first time about her relationship with fellow singer Brian McFadden.

The star described them as just "very good friends" despite McFadden's recent declaration that he was "in love" with the Aussie.

"It's early days," Delta told reporters at the weekend. "We are very good friends, but it's just early days."
