Joe Calzaghe: 'I'll knock out Alex Reid'

Joe Calzaghe has said that he would be happy to knock out Katie Price's partner Alex Reid if her ex-husband Peter Andre gave him a fee.

The former boxer and Strictly Come Dancing contestant told Red Dragon FM that he would be happy to spar with "that fighter who dresses like a woman", The Sun reports.

Calzaghe joked: "Of course I could take him on. As long as he stays standing up, no kicking allowed. It would be too quick. I'd do that for Peter if he paid me.

"I'd take him out, no problem. I'll be waiting for Peter's phonecall."

The super middleweight and light heavyweight southpaw won all of his 46 fights as a professional boxer before his retirement in February, with 32 victories by knockout.

Former Hollyoaks actor Reid has a career as a professional cage fighter.
