Green's Hollywood Hills residence was broken into by a group of teenagers accused of stealing from stars' houses, law enforcement sources told TMZ. The burglars reportedly took the actor's recreational gun and several of girlfriend Fox's clothes.
Officials later retrieved the stolen items and returned them to Green last week.
Police have arrested five people - Nicholas Prugo, 18, Courtney Ames, 18, Alexis Neiers, 18, Diana Tamayo, 19, and Rachel Lee, 19 - in connection with the incidents. Officers have also accused Ray Lopez, 27, of helping the teenagers fence the items.
It is thought that the group previously burgled the homes of Paris Hilton, Audrina Partridge, Lindsay Lohan and Orlando Bloom. The LA County district attorney will file charges on everyone but Lee this week.
Prosecutors are gathering more information before charging Lee.
