Destiny's Child star in car accident

Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams has revealed that she was involved in a minor traffic accident on Tuesday.

Williams, who was in the US girlband until their split in 2005, apparently clipped the side of a bus while driving in her home city of Chicago.

The singer wrote on her Twitter page: "I hit a bus and have 2 get my side mirror fixed." She was not seriously injured in the incident.

Earlier this year, Williams took to the social networking site to dismiss reports that she is planning to reunite with former bandmates Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland, writing: "I never said DC is getting back together."
