Jackman: 'Dates keep my marriage alive'

Hugh Jackman has revealed that the key to a happy marriage is going on date nights.

The Australia star, who has been married to Deborra-Lee Furness for about 13 years, said that they alway make time for themselves without the children to help keep the romance in their relationship alive.

Jackman told OK magazine: "Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids."

The 41-year-old actor met Furness on the set of Aussie TV show Correlli in 1995. He said: "She was beautiful and larger than life. Everyone on set was in love with her. I had a crush on her for ages and started planning my proposal after three months."

The couple have two adopted children, Oscar, 9, and 4-year-old Ava.
