Katy Perry 'fumes over STD jibe'

Katy Perry was reportedly left furious when a member of the public urged her to take an STD test recently.

According to the Daily Star, the 'I Kissed A Girl' singer was shopping in Los Angeles when an outspoken onlooker made the jibe about her relationship with Russell Brand.

The male 'fan' is quoted as saying: "Katy, have you and Russell gone and had STD tests together yet or what?"

He allegedly added: "It's just the smart thing to do. There's a lot of things going around and your fella has been putting it around all over the place."

Perry is said to have appeared "mortified" by the comment before angrily returning outside to her car.

The star was spotted celebrating her 25th birthday with Brand earlier this month.
