James of Busted dumped by girlfriend

James Bourne's weekend went from very bad to even worse as Friday saw the official end to Busted and Saturday brought the end of his relationship.

BreakingNews.ie reports that James' girlfriend of 18 months, actress Kara Tointon, dumped the bandmember over the phone the day after Busted announced their split.

It hardly seems to be a coincidence that she has ditched him immediately after he has ceased to be part of a band in spotlight, and the website quotes a source as saying: "Splitting with Kara is a bitter body blow after all the hell of the last few weeks.

"He thought she would be there for him when things came to an end but it seems she had other ideas. She has blatantly used him to get in the limelight."
