Eva Green 'insecure about her looks'

Eva Green has admitted that she is insecure about her physical appearance.

The 29-year-old actress, who played a Bond girl in Casino Royale, has insisted that she was "crazy" for becoming an actress because of her body hang-ups, reports STV.

She said: "I hate my bum. I'm like everybody. I only really decided to act because I am crazy, it is quite masochistic."

Green also revealed that she worries about being typecast because of her beauty.

"I am aware of the whole sexy French girl thing. You become a product and people typecast you. It is very stressful, because you take it personally if you are not right for a part and you question yourself a lot."

As for filming nude scenes again, as she did in her first feature The Dreamers, she added: "I like to show emotions and if that mean being naked and it's not gratuitous I might do it."

Green can next be seen in Ridley Scott's upcoming film Cracks, which is released in the UK on December 4.
