Amanda Peet loses jewellery in burglary

Amanda Peet has reportedly lost £565 worth of jewellery in a burglary.

OK! claims that Peet's assistant Michelle Werner was confronted by the thief when she visited the New York apartment on Wednesday morning.

The burglar, who allegedly broke in through the skylight, apparently said: "What's up, bitch? I live here", before running from the property.

Werner was unharmed and reported the crime to the police. It is not known whether the burglar has been apprehended.

A spokesperson for Peet was unavailable for comment.
