Dakota Fanning named homecoming queen

Dakota Fanning has reportedly been named her school's homecoming queen.

The 15-year-old actress, who attends North Hollywood's Campbell Hall Episcopal School, was given the distinguished teen honour on Friday night, reports Radar Online.

Fanning is to star alongside Kristen Stewart in the upcoming Twilight sequels New Moon and Eclipse, also teaming with Stewart for biopic The Runaways.

New Moon arrives in cinemas on November 20.
