50 Cent: 'My home is surrounded by cameras'

50 Cent has reportedly revealed that he spends $20,000 (£12,106) a week to protect himself and his home.

The rapper and actor has admitted that by having an annual bill of $1.6 million on security, he can also avoid potential lawsuits.

50 Cent told Prefix magazine: "I spend $20,000 a week on security. My home is surrounded by cameras.

"I need surveillance not only to look out for me but also to protect me. You get all these crazy lawsuits and I need cameras to check on things."

The 34-year-old is co-starring in the new movie Dead Man Running, which is currently playing in the UK.
