Fan threatens to kill Jordan's horse

Police are reportedly investigating after a cage-fighting fan threatened to kill one of Katie Price's horses because of her relationship with Alex Reid.

Security has been stepped up at the stables where the former glamour model keeps her prized animals, reports the Sunday Mirror.

The threats were made on a cage-fighting website by a fan of the sport who believes that Reid's association with Price, and subsequent revelations that he likes to dress as a woman, have brought the sport into disrepute.

The author wrote: "Alex, stop wearing mixed martial art T-shirts or I'll kill one of Jordan’s horses. Alex, give it up - everyone f**king hates you."

A source close to Reid said: "There was a direct threat to kill one of Jordan’s horses and you have to take that kind of thing seriously. Yes, we are worried. There are lunatics out there."
