Price 'receives threats from Andre fan'

Katie Price has reportedly increased her security after receiving several threatening letters.

The News of the World claims that Price received four messages made up of letters cut out from newspapers.

In the notes, she was described as a "slag", "hoar" [sic], "a muva" and a "c**t". One of the letters was signed "Team Andre", while another read: "I am going to kill the horses."

Price is reportedly especially worried that she will be attacked after Leona Lewis was assaulted at a recent book signing.

"She was in tears about the threats," a source said. "She can't understand why someone would be so evil. She got very anxious on Friday. It was basically a panic attack.

"She made sure security was extra tight at the book signing yesterday. Jordan is beside herself with worry. She thinks the whole pantomime surrounding her split from Peter [Andre] has gone too far."

Price's horses were also threatened on a martial arts website recently.
