Williams pays off girlfriend's mum's debt

Robbie Williams is rumoured to have put his house on the market so that he can pay the debts of his girlfriend's mother.

The 'Angels' singer, who has been dating Ayda Field since January 2007, has apparently started proceedings to sell his UK home and is moving back to LA.

A friend of Field told The Sun: "Debtors are literally on Gwen's doorstep. Her house has been threatened with foreclosure. Things have been getting tricky recently and she's worried about the future."

They continued: "As a result, Ayda is concerned about her mum and is feeling stressed. It's a big part of why they have moved back to America. Ayda feels she needs to be there to help her mom and she's hoping Robbie will just pay off all her debts."

The source added: "Robbie has already been extremely generous. He and Ayda have offered for her to move in but that is not going to work as a permanent solution."
