Underwood pays tribute to Fisher on CD

Carrie Underwood has reportedly paid tribute to boyfriend Mike Fisher, claiming that he makes her life "better in every way".

The American Idol winner, who has been dating Fisher for nearly a year, included a message of thanks to the hockey player in the notes for her upcoming album Play On.

According to People, she wrote:"Thank you #12. You are the most amazing addition to my life!

"You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way! I thank God for you every day."

Fisher, who wears shirt number 12 for the Ottawa Senators, recently praised Underwood's work ethic, adding: "She's always going. She's talented and she's getting rewarded for it. That's good to see."
