Darren Day: 'I'm a reformed character'

Darren Day has revealed that he feels grateful to have put his 'bad boy' reputation behind him.

In an interview with the Daily Record, the 41-year-old actor insisted that he could not be happier over his relationship with wife Stephanie Dooley and life as a father.

Day explained: "In terms of my personal life, I am a totally reformed character these days. In some ways, I am quite glad that I can look back on my life and say that at least it wasn't boring, but I feel like I am beyond all that now.

"I am very happily married and I am a devoted father. I really have sorted my life out and I am once more passionate about life and my career again. I am married to a wonderful lady, have wonderful children and life is just really good."

Day welcomed his first daughter Madison with Dooley in 2006. He also has a son called Corey from his previous relationship with Suzanne Shaw.
