Seacrest 'stalker' pleads not guilty

The man accused of stalking Ryan Seacrest has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

Chidi Uzomah was detained in the lobby of the E! building last week and a three-inch knife was discovered on his person.

In September, he was arrested after he allegedly attacked the American Idol presenter's personal security guard, for which he served 15 days in jail and is currently on three years' probation.

The 25-year-old has now pleaded not guilty to one count of felony stalking and two misdemeanor counts for violation of his probation, TV Guide reports.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered that Uzomah is to stay 500 feet away from Seacrest and his places of employment for the next three years, effective immediately. He is next due in court on November 16 for a preliminary hearing.
