Brad Pitt 'hurt ego in motorbike mishap'

Brad Pitt has joked that the only injury he suffered in his recent motorcycle accident was a bruised ego.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button star fell off his motorcycle in Los Angeles last month after a photographer reportedly cut him off in traffic.

Speaking to The AP, he said: "I had a little mishap. No injuries, except my ego.

"I was trying to get away from some paparazzi and instead gave them a good story. It was my favourite bike, so that is really sad."

He added that he would "definitely" be looking for a new motorcycle while he is in Japan promoting Quentin Tarantino's war epic Inglourious Basterds.
