Dannii Minogue's boyfriend Kris Smith has claimed that the British public have finally seen her true nature thanks to Piers Morgan.
The X Factor judge recently spoke candidly in an interview for Morgan's ITV1 Life Stories chatshow.
Model and former rugby player Smith told The Age: "It gave her a chance to get over the bad press she's had and show the real her. Now people can see her for what she is - a genuine, loving woman."
Discussing his relationship with the Australian, he added: "I thank her for making me so happy."
Minogue's interview saw her discussing a variety of topics, including her time as a child star, pop career and experiences on The X Factor, as well as troubles which have plagued her personal life.
Morgan recently predicted that the TV appearance would be "life-changing" for the 38-year-old.
