Jimmy Carr: 'I'm not rock 'n' roll'

Jimmy Carr has said that he is not a rock 'n' roll person.

The comedian has been touring with US band The Killers but revealed that he does not share the traditional music industry lifestyle.

When quizzed about his most rock 'n' roll moment, Carr quipped: "There was one time I killed a hooker on a cocaine binge. It was okay, I apologised and left a tip.

"No, it won't come as any surprise, but I'm the least rock 'n' roll man in the world."

Asked if he still gets nervous before shows, he added: "God yeah. I calm myself down with lots of toffee. I always hope people have a good night as they've paid money to see me.

"The weird thing is, even though I tell quite rude jokes and I'm quite edgy, I still want people to like me."

Carr recently attracted criticism after telling a joke about amputee soldiers and later admitted to taking the row to heart.
