David Hasselhoff has finally got a confession off his chest - he didn't let Leonardo Di Caprio join the cast of Baywatch.
The 52-year-old has admitted that a young virile Leo presented himself to him when he was taking auditions for the lifeguard drama. However, Hasselhoff was unimpressed and sent him away dejected.
He told Hello magazine: "I have the dubious distinction of not casting Leonardo in Baywatch. He was going to be one of the young lifeguards but we didn't hire him - I reminded him of that at the Golden Globes."
"Because of that he probably went on to become a huge movie star when he could have been in the Spongebob Squarepants movie with me," realised David.
