Penn's son won't face drugs charges

Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn's son Hopper has been let off recent drugs charges.

The 16-year-old, who was arrested after being found with drugs at his Malibu high school last week, has had charges dropped after officers realised that the drugs were prescription medication in his name.

Wright Penn is quoted by the New York Post as saying: "I didn't want to raise my kids in this weird, sycophantic society. If you have celebrity parents, it's not a good recipe for the kids, or anyone at any age. Look at what Brad and Angelina go through."

Wright Penn recently filed for divorce from her husband for the second time, citing "irreconcilable differences".

The couple also have an 18-year-old daughter called Dylan.
