Former X-Files actress Gillian Anderson has announced that she has married filmmaker boyfriend Julian Ozanne.
Apparently the pair had a quiet civil wedding ceremony on December 29 on Lamu's Shella Island, off the coast of Kenya. The event was attended by only Anderson's immediate family and a small number of close friends and took place in the garden of a beach house owned by wealthy London socialite Kate Barker.
Anderson's 10-year-old daughter Piper played bridesmaid while a Kenyan choir sang in Swahili and a firedancer performed, reports People magazine.
